I am an anti-homophobic Bible reader, and I strongly feel everyone should be. That’s why I’m working together with LGBT charity Seventh-day Adventist Kinship to help share anti-homophobic readings of the Bible.
In the last weeks I have started hosting a series of 5 classes on the so-called clobber texts. These seven Bible passages are weaponised by Christians worldwide against LGBT individuals.
The classes are open to anyone interested in learning more and gaining a deeper understanding of LGBT-affirming readings of these texts. You could sign up if you like.
For people who cannot attend every week, I am recording summaries of what I discussed in the class. My second video in the series is up on YouTube. It looks at the two texts in Leviticus.
You could check it out there, or below. More videos will come in the following weeks.
